If you didn’t know it before, The Big Chill was Kevin Costner’s 7th film, and was supposed to be his big breakthrough film. “Wait….what? I don’t remember seeing him in that movie?” That’s because he was edited out, and the role that was supposed to make him a household name ended up on the cutting room floor. He was the dead guy at the funeral that everybody re-united for, but you never even saw his face. Now that’s editing!
