Dare Dreamer Magazine: The Music Licensing Chickens Have Come Home to Roost

The Music Licensing Chickens Have Come Home to Roost in Wedding and Event Videography | Dare Dreamer Magazine.

It has always seemed a little petty to go after wedding videographers for using music, it’s not like they’re distributing it en masse.  But I guess they are getting paid for using someone else’s work, so fair game.

The media world is more and more fragmented.  What’s the difference between one entity that is selling 10,000 copies of your work, and 100 entities selling 100 copies of your work?  It still means you’re not getting paid 10,000 times, right?
